Welcome to The Middle! The Middle is a new concert series centered around collaboration, musical fusion, and audience engagement. At each show, musicians from two different genres first perform individual sets. After both sets, the musicians come together to perform as one ensemble, finding ways to combine their different musical styles to create something new together, exploring where they meet in "The Middle."​Through this project, we seek to inspire audiences to also explore creative ways of finding overlap and commonalities in difference in order to meet in “The Middle” in their own unique contexts. ​The Middle has featured a woodwind quintet, a comedic original music duo, a contemporary wind trio, and a free improvisation saxophonist.
